Post-editing is the bilingual review of a machine-translated text in comparison with the source text.

In full post-editing, I edit the machine translation output in such a way that it is linguistically and contextually correct, terminologically consistent, stylistically appropriate and, above all, complete and comprehensible. In addition, the output must be correctly localised and formatted.

 

Overall, this approach makes it possible to achieve virtually the same quality as a human translation.
